Rackvio Community Edition is a zero-telemetry, fully self-hosted build that includes:
- Asset Hierarchy — Site, building, floor, room, rack, and device modeling
- Rack Elevation Renderer — Procedurally generated faceplates per equipment model (front + rear faces, half-U devices, blade chassis, PDU strips)
- 2D Room Floor Plan — SVG top-down view with drag-and-drop rack placement, hot/cold aisle overlays, power-density and capacity heatmaps, clearance validation
- 3D Room Renderer — WebGL room geometry, 3D rack objects with faceplates, orbit controls, thermal gradient overlays, cable path visualization, change preview with power/cooling impact
- Power Distribution — Full power chain from utility feed to device outlet, single-line diagram generation, PDU/breaker tracking
- IP Address Management — IPv4/IPv6 subnets, VLAN tracking, conflict prevention
- Equipment Library — Pre-built device catalog with air-gapped (signed ZIP bundle) or online sync modes
- Navigator & Utilization — Hierarchical object browsing (site -> interface) with real-time, read-only capacity utilization rollups

Cloud and Enterprise Editions
The Cloud-hosted tiers (Cloud Starter / Cloud Growth / Enterprise) add features that are absent from the community build:
- SSO / OIDC login with email-domain routing and multi-provider support
- Network auto-discovery + reconciliation — SNMP v1/v2c/v3, LLDP/CDP neighbor discovery, auto-create and reconcile against the equipment library (Cloud Growth+)
- Capacity reservation and what-if scenario planning — reserve space/power and model changes before committing (reservations Cloud Growth+, scenario modeling Enterprise)
- Essential reports — asset inventory, power utilization, capacity summary with CSV/PDF export (Cloud Starter+)
- Power gap analytics + stranded capacity reporting (Patent #007)
- Three-phase A/B/C circuit modeling with per-leg load and imbalance flagging
- Failover-overload detection — simulates single-UPS failure to flag racks that would exceed surviving capacity
- Cabinet design vs. live load reconciliation — designed kW vs. measured kW with “unknown design” as a first-class state
